Course Benefits

  • Developing a comprehensive knowledge about upcoming change
  • Recognizing the underlying causes and requirements for change
  • Clarifying roles in the change process: senior management, work group and your own
  • Assessing and defining the change through dialogue and communication
  • Defining acceptance measures and building constructive approaches
  • Identifying the impacts of the change: human, work process, objectives and outcomes

Planning and Developing Strategies for Managing the Change

  • Analyzing alternatives, choices and gaps
  • Identifying restraining and supporting elements: human, situational, policies and procedures
  • Developing hands-on strategies: operational, training and learning, communication, transition, ongoing assessment of progress
  • Developing and refining change success factors

Implementing and Managing the Transition

  • Preparing your team: motivating, supporting and communicating through techniques adapted to individuals and situations
  • Managing perceptions and dealing with issues brought on by change
  • Monitoring transition issues and people's response to change
  • Troubleshooting: managing resistance and setbacks
  • Tracking results and recognizing achievements
