In addition, the PMP certification recognizes an individual's competence to perform in the role of a project manager, specifically experience in leading and directing projects. Year after year, the PMP certification has garnered global recognition and commanded a higher salary for certified individuals over non-certified individuals.

The PMP certification delivers value far into your career. Both the PMBOK® Guide — Seventh Edition and the PMBOK® Guide — Sixth Edition are available in digital format as part of a PMI membership.
